Legionella risk assessments
To make sure you’re compliant with the Health & Safety Executive’s Legionella guidance, the first step is to have a Legionella risk assessment. We make it as straightforward as possible. We’ll check your property and explain in plain language where any risks lie, and what you need to do about it. And if you need help with that, we can do that too.
Temperature monitoring
The simplest way to keep your water safe is to take regular readings of the water temperature in your system. That way you can quickly spot and act on any fluctuations that could cause problems. Our monitoring contracts are tailored to your site and let you keep a constant check on what’s happening with your systems.
Showerheads
Current guidance from the ACoP L8 is that showerheads need to be cleaned and descaled at least four times a year, in order to prevent and control the spread of the bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ disease. That can be a big job, but we can do it for you – keeping you safe and compliant.
Water sampling
It’s not normally necessary to carry out routine sampling and testing of domestic hot and mains fed cold water. But there are some situations where you may need to do it – and when that’s the case we’re here to help. We can advise you when you need to test your water, and do it for you.
Tank Cleaning and Disinfection
A build-up of sludge, scale and sediment is the perfect breeding environment for legionella bacteria. That’s why cold water storage tanks need to be inspected regularly to check they’re in good condition. And if they do need cleaning, we can do it for you. Our specialist engineers can handle everything from small domestic tanks right up to large sectional tanks – safely and effectively.
