Safe. Secure. Prepared.
Covid-19 security at Virtual FM

At Virtual FM, the safety and well-being of our people, our clients and everyone we work with comes first. Given how seriously we take Health & Safety under normal circumstances, it won’t come as a surprise to you to find out we’ve a robust risk assessment in place to deal with Covid-19.
We’re fully compliant with Government guidelines.

Where we can, we’ve had our team work from home and have provided the equipment and technology to let them do that. And we’ll be continuing to work remotely for as long as is necessary.

But some colleagues are needed on site to help deliver services to clients, and to help clients deliver services to the public. For these members of our team, we want to keep their risk of exposure to the absolute minimum. So, we’ve introduced a series of measures to do that.
These include:

  • Strict social distancing.
  • Creating ‘Sanitation Stations’.
  • Introducing signage to remind and reinforce social distancing and personal hygiene.
  • Additional cleaning, especially in high-touch areas.
  • Installing protective perspex screens in customer-facing areas and offices.
  • Reconfiguring office layouts to maximise the space between desks.
  • Holding meetings remotely, using Zoom or Microsoft Teams, rather than in person.
  • Providing additional PPE (gloves, face masks and visors) for anyone who needs it.
  • Working out-of-hours when we can, so that cleaning and other teams have less contact with the public.
  • Staggered shift times to reduce bottlenecks and make it easier to social distance.

As the situation evolves and official guidance changes, we’ll continue to keep our staff informed, advised and – most importantly – safe.
