Gas Safe Register
Gas Safe is the official list of businesses registered to work on gas boilers, cookers, fires and all other gas appliances in the UK. The Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in 2009.
By law, all gas engineers must be on the Register in order to work safely and legally on gas appliances. They can only be aligned to a registered business, and will only be issued with a licence to undertake gas work if they hold a valid and current qualification.
Refcom
We are listed on the Refcom F-Gas register, the certification scheme for businesses qualified to work with Fluorinated gases (F gases) used in refrigeration, air-conditioning systems and heat pump equipment.
There is tight control on F-gas production, equipment, service and maintenance, and it is a criminal offence to release gases into the atmosphere. Operators of equipment containing F-Gases are legally obliged to prevent leaks and maintain accurate records. Only qualified personnel are allowed to work on machinery and equipment containing F-Gases.
SafeContractor
SafeContractor is a Health & Safety accreditation scheme, which demonstrates that member companies meet specific H&S standards.
Member companies are assessed annually to ensure that their knowledge, working practises and documentation are up to date and meet recognised industry standards, allowing them to work safely on site.
CAA Permission for Commercial Drone Operations
CAA Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) demonstrates that Virtual FM and our drone pilots have demonstrated industry qualifications, experience, insurance and safety procedures for the operation of our commercial drones.
